guest Lecture was conducted by the department of Cyber Security, on 28.09.2022
from 9.00 am to 11.30 am. Chief guest Dr.Magesh Sriramalu, Lead-Data Scientist, NWN Carousel
Corporation, MA, USA has taken a lecture on the topic “Digital Forensics” for
second-year and third-year students in Old Seminar Hall. He has involved in industry, research
discussions, and analysis in Systems Platform Research Laboratories in NEC,
Japan in the areas of Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing.
He also chaired technical sessions at National and International Conferences. A
total of around 120 students and staff participated in this program.
The
speaker explains the Basics of Digital Forensics, Open source tools, and the
significance of this emerging trend in the techie world. The lecture also discussed the possibilities
and reach abilities of research and development in the Cyber Security field,
and opportunities in core technical areas with authenticated explanations.
After
his lecture, the students were given time to interact with him. Students felt
that the session was more informative and interactive. At the end of the guest
lecture, two students gave their feedback and explained how they benefited.
